Dear Boomer friends,
I am flying to Sint Maarten with my sisterโs son for a dignified farewell to his fatherโit is his wish to do so, as my sister cannot bear it. It happened on September 11, 2021: after a beautiful boat trip, he went to bed in the evening, exchanged goodnight kisses, and turned overโonly to pass away. It was a tragedy. We are receiving this trip for free from the hotel. My sisterโs son has worked at Schiphol for 25 yearsโkudos to himโand received a beautiful gold pin; he would love to place it by his dadโs urn when we are back in the Netherlands. A beautiful and touching gesture. I am standing by him!
