I am Mabel .Born in South America As my Parents were Lithuanians they decided to move from S.America to Lithuania. They felt a deep nostalgia to their Native Coutry.They had a wonderful Life in S.America. But Fate played such a trick.Here in Lithuania they came to know what poverty is.They saw a backward, exhausted, impoverished country. Such is Life.Such was our destined FATE. I was then 8 years old . Even being a child of such an age I understood that theres something wrong with Lithuania.People wearing only dark clothes , women carrying bags on their shouders . It was a horribe picture for me , a child .A child who grew in pefect conditions and now facing terrible things . A contrast , difficult to describe .My sister was ready to return back to S.America .But my Mother didnt let her take such a step. Why ? I dont know the reasons .
Of course , now the picture of Lithuania greatly changed ...It became a progressive country, etc.
I finished school , then graduated the UNIVERSITY. My husband was a famous basket-player in Lithuania. I have two daughters, already grown up.
There were chances to go to North America , to live and stay there forever.My granny lived in North America She invited us twice.But again some obstacles appeared...
