Anything by William Martin, Nelson DeMille, John Grisham, Jennifer Weiner. I like historical novels, biographies, comedy and chick lit.
At 57, I find myself newly divorced after twenty years, newly retired after twenty years, and building a house for the first time by myself. I have three grandchildren and two wonderful children, 28 and 34, who are at times my anchor. I am a regular churchgoer, but love to dance, laugh and just enjoy this part of my life. I hope to start traveling in the near future. I would like to converse with women (or men) in similar situation for support and friendship. Hope I have come to the right site!
TURN ON'S
Life turns me on I guess.....being with my grandchildren and children, celebrating family, quiet mornings reading with my pup by my feet, a great inspirational sermon on Sunday---just feeling alive!
