I live in a small coastal community 20 miles south of San Francisco called Moss Beach. I'm a mechanical engineer with a degree from Berkeley. I've worked with various companies over a 30 year period designing mechanical components from robots, coal mining vehicles, automated diagnostic instruments, and satellites. For the last 10 years I've developed a web site www.hrmusic.com devoted to female singer songwriters from folk, blues, bluegrass, rock and world music. Although this business does not pay all my bills, I still use part time engineering to supplement my income. My goal for this business is to fully support me in the near future. I find the music business much more relaxing than the stress generated by corporate cubacells.
